About the scheme
The Old Age Pension Scheme is run by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Purvanchal, under the State Social Assistance Programme.
Who can apply
Residents of Purvanchal aged 60 or older. One application per person.
How long a decision takes
Every application is decided within 15 days, under the Purvanchal Right to Public Services (RTPS) Act. If no decision is made in 15 days, the application is approved automatically (deemed approval).
